Wax Museum

Also in the past month was the fifth grade wax museum.  The fifth graders put on the wax museum for the school, then again for the parents that evening.  Bucket played Neil Armstrong.  He researched and then wrote up a paragraph about his historical figure and memorized it.  Then he recited his part whenever someone pushed the "button" at his station.  He used the cool moon landing book grandpa gave us for Christmas and also drew some visual aids.  I thought the rocket turned out especially well.  It's kind of hard to see in these pics, but Bucket did a moonscape drawing with the lander.  It was drawn with white on a black board.  We started putting together a costume, but he decided he wanted to wear the one the school had.
