Timpooneke is a family tradition. My cool aunt Bonnie goes camping there the week of the 24th every year and there's always an open invitation for anyone who wants to join them. Come up and camp or just come up for the day. Grandma always brings icecream. This year it was made the "official" family reunion. We went up and camped for four days. Between work and baby, we hadn't been camping for three years. It was a lot of fun. The group grew a little bigger each day and by Saturday, we had almost EVERYONE there: my grandparents, all of their seven children and most of the grandkids and great grandkids. So cool. Thank you Lindsay and Bonnie for putting it together.
I wanted to get a picture of the kids in front of the tent... but I didn't. :(
Here are some pics I did take and some highlights.

We took the kids to Cascade Springs for a couple hours the second day. It is beautiful up there. Nini couldn't get enough of the "waterfalls".

Playing with clay and painting rocks.

Trigger did an amazing job camping. Such a good boy... playing fetch up in the mountains and hiking like a pro.

1...2...3... Awwww.

A hike with my brother is not your average hike. He guided the kids through a series of Time Portals. Watch out for dinosaurs! The kids think he is SO much fun.

The reason we don't have a game system at our house: my boys become vegetables at the mere sight of a video game.

Nini loves her uncle Colby. She climbed up on his lap and fell asleep.

The kids' skit. Not sure what the plot was, but they had fun.

Hiking to Scout Falls.
