My dad plays with the Murray Symphony and invited us to their Christmas concert on Saturday. The kids really enjoyed it... they all love classical music and loved seeing the music played by
real instruments. There was great excitement over one piece being written by Gustav Holst and W hummed right along with the Hallelujah chorus. But... it looks like I need to review concert etiquette with them. There was much wiggling, much teasing and all comments were made in loud voices (have to be heard over the music, after all). It was telling that the people in front of us and behind us weren't sitting there after the intermission. It's a good thing it was a pretty low-key event.
